The Pediatric Endocrinology Section of the Department of Pediatrics at LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans is currently recruiting a full-time Pediatric Endocrinologist MD/DO at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) with rank and salary to be determined by the candidate’s credentials and experience. The position is open for recruitment immediately. The pediatric endocrinology and diabetes program at LSUHSC, is the largest in the Gulf South and has an ACGME accredited fellowship program. The successful candidate will join an established team in a wonderful location to work and live. Primary work location is the Children's Hospital of New Orleans which is the largest full-service freestanding hospital for children in Louisiana, and the primary pediatric teaching hospital for the LSUHSC system. Clinical duties will include both inpatient and outpatient management of general endocrine and diabetes patients as well as participation in the academic and teaching mission of the section. Qualified applicants must have board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology at start date. Must also be licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana by the hire date.
