Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a physician to join the primary care team at Defiance Pediatrics in Defiance, Ohio. Defiance Pediatrics is a very well-established, multispecialty practice and is the only pediatric practice in Defiance County.
The Pediatrician will provide routine wellness care, same day acute care and monitoring of ongoing medical problems. Typically seeing 16-24 patients per day in clinic, the provider will also have an opportunity to round on newborns at two local hospitals if desired.
Practice hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm. Current call schedule is 2 – 3 nights per week with holiday and weekend rotation shared with family providers for ambulatory and two other providers for neonatal at affiliated hospitals.
This position requires an individual with excellence in clinical care and teaching. Minimum qualifications include an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio.
