Seeking an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our physician and practitioner team in our PICU/Pediatric Hospitalist practice at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV.
Rapidly growing 15-bed PICU with new overflow unit, an average daily census of 9 and about 800 admissions annually
The 32-bed pediatric ward has an average daily census of 18
The team includes 6 BC intensivists, 6 BC hospitalists and an NP who has been with us for 10 years
Strong pool of pediatric subspecialists available both locally and in partnership with Lucille Packard/Stanford University
Growing sedation service currently provides care for 500 outpatients annually
Collaborative practice model
Responsibilities will include patient admissions, discharges and transfers as well as procedures including PICC lines
Teaching opportunity with medical students and family practice residents
The hospital is the region's only Level-II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada as well as northeastern California
