Beittel-Becker Pediatric Associates (BBPA) is seeking a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join our independently owned pediatric practice. We are seeking to fill a full-time (4 days per week) or part-time position. This position provides a partnership track for qualified candidates.

BBPA is a thriving independent practice with a stellar reputation, providing excellent pediatric care to the children of our community for over 50 years. We provide comprehensive pediatric care to newborns through age 18. Our current provider team consists of 3 pediatricians, a physician assistant, and a nurse practitioner. In addition to routine preventive and sick care, BBPA provides a range of specialized areas of care such as mental health and chronic disease management for children with complex health issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine check-ups on patients to assess their health condition and discover possible health related issues
• Provide advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health
• Examine ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests
• Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions on how they should be administered
• Collaborate with other providers, physician assistants, and nurses to provide excellent health care
• Cultivate a level of trust and compassion for our patients
• Remain current on developments and best practices in medicine by attending conferences, seminars, and staying up to date on CME.

Skills

• Board certified/eligible
• Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology
• Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Respect for patient’s confidentiality
• Responsible, trustworthy, compassionate, and approachable

JOB DETAILS: Full-time, 3 days (8am-5pm), 1 evening (1pm-8pm), every 5th Saturday. Part-Time could be discussed. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience and full-time vs part-time.
