(Morgantown, WV) West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics seeks a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor rank to join our growing program.

About the Role:

• Opportunity to develop new research initiatives or collaborate with existing programs across a broad spectrum of DBP areas and clinical/translational research
• Active involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Dedicated interdisciplinary team within the Department of Pediatrics and Neurodevelopmental Center to include: physicians, APPs, psychologists, neuropsychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and BCBAs
• West Virginia University is a comprehensive doctoral-granting public institution with a combined agenda of research, teaching, and service. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has ranked WVU as a "Research University I" institution. This designation places WVU among only 59 public and 29 private institutions of higher education nationwide
• New 150 bed Children’s Hospital opening in late 2022

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
• Eligible for state medical license
• Completion of a pediatrics residency program
• Completion of a developmental-behavioral fellowship program
• Board certified / eligible in developmental-behavioral pediatrics
