The Division of Pediatric Primary Care in the Department of Pediatrics at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) seeks outstanding primary care physicians to join our faculty. We seek physicians who have experience working with a diverse population and are willing to serve our communities. We also seek an individual who is excited to engage in the clinical, educational, and scholarly missions of our Division at MGH. 

Details:

• Location: Chelsea Pediatric practice located at the Chelsea Health Center.
• Positions: 1 - 2 full-time (8 sessions/week) and 1 - 2 part-time position (4-6 sessions/week).
• Strongly Preferred Qualification: Spanish speaking.
• An appointment as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with the candidate’s academic qualifications.
• The successful candidate should be board certified in a primary care specialty including pediatrics, medicine/pediatrics, or family medicine, and qualify for a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Department of Pediatrics at the MGH works to promote the health and psycho-social well-being 
of children and adolescents to enable them to achieve their full potential across their lifespan and minimize disease burden. We do this by focusing on quality improvement and population health management while strengthening families by connecting them to community resources and helping them build resilience. Our goal is to provide high quality, accessible preventative, and acute and chronic care, while integrating support for behavioral and mental health and care coordination. 

This clinical position will provide excellent opportunities to be involved in our primary care transformation. Clinicians have the opportunity to take part in quality improvement initiatives, education of medical students and residents, community initiatives and in a wide range of additional 
academic activities, including clinical research and conferences. An academic pursuit is encouraged.
