I am looking for a board-certified pediatrician to join my pediatric home where I have been practicing solo for over 23 years, located along the North Shore in Winnetka, an enchanting village 16 miles north of downtown Chicago. My pediatric home’s mission is to provide patients with the best and most comprehensive pediatric care possible, from birth until 21 years of age . My practice strives to exceed the expected standards for comfort, attentiveness, care, and convenience. Our office adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards to build long-term partnering relationships with our families through trust and mutual respect.My pediatric home practices medicine “the way it used to be”. There are no examination time limits required to be with a patient. There are an average of 20 patients per day to be examined. There is a compassionate receptionist who answers all incoming calls; a hard-working nurse who is available during all working hours; a quiet workspace for the physician to return calls from patients and/or parents throughout the workday; and lastly, a cell phone is provided to be “on-call” in direct contact with the pediatrician when the office is closed. My prac...tice receives on average 2 to 3 after-hour calls on any given day. As a pediatrician in my medical home, your workday will be entirely in the medical home. There will be no required rounding on newborn(s) or admitted patient(s). Since the beginning of 2020, my practice has been utilizing the successful pediatric hospitalist with flawless results. My practice is affiliated with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.My pediatric practice is seeking a part-time or full-time physician with a flexible schedule. Our motto is: Family First. For example, if there is an unexpected event that requires your presence at a family situation on a workday -- no worries. My practice is closed on all holidays without pay. However, fourteen paid days will be provided per calendar year to be used for vacation, sick day(s), family day(s), or CME. The salary for this position will be based on an hourly wage to be discussed after our initial meeting.
