Description:

The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking academic physicians for multiple positions in our Division of Neonatology.  Proven excellence in clinical care and teaching are necessary to join our active, growing program.  Scholarship interests are encouraged. The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and OSF Healthcare are partnering with Genesis Medical Center-Davenport is currently seeking 2 Neonatologists.  The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in neonatology; BC in pediatrics is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Proven acute and ongoing consultative care to neonatal children with problems in the hospital and outpatient setting.
• Participation in undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs of the Department of Pediatrics.
• Participate in collaborative quality improvement activities of the Division and Department.
• Perform other duties of a University faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and student counseling.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure in Illinois and Iowa.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.
• Board certification in Pediatrics required.
• Proven excellence in clinical care and teaching.
• 3 years Residency, 3 years Neonatology Fellowship.
• MD/DO degree.
