The Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan is expanding. We are recruiting new faculty members to serve is the role of NICU Hospitalist. Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in General Pediatrics by the position start date. Responsibilities will include provision of frontline care to patients in the newborn ICU under the supervision of an attending Neonatologist, including pre-rounding, work rounds with the clinical team (APPs, other Neonatal Hospitalists, Pediatric residents, NPM fellows, faculty neonatologists, NICU RNs, NICU dieticians, etc.), attendance at high risk deliveries and leadership of neonatal resuscitations, performance of needed procedures, and safe handoff at change
