Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a neonatal hospitalist to join our dynamic team of neonatologists, NNPs and pediatric hospitalists at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ
31-bed, Level-III NICU with an ADC of 25, and over 6,000 annual deliveries
Working hand in hand with the neonatologists, NNPS and pediatric hospitalists to care for sick and well newborns
Responsibilities include assisting with coverage of the NICU, ability to attend high risk deliveries as the sole provider in attendance, intubations, experience with central lines and needle evacuation of pneumothorax
Coverage of wellborn nursery and in-house NICU night call
Ability to independently manage the step-down NICU unit
Pediatric residency program with educational responsibilities
Full complement of in-house pediatric subspecialists

With over 6,000 annual births, Monmouth Medical Center is a top maternity hospital delivering more than all other hospitals in Monmouth and Ocean counties combined. The hospital, a part of the RWJ Barnabas Health system and a recognized leader in patient safety and clinical quality, was founded in 1887 as the first hospital in Monmouth and Ocean counties and serves as a regional teaching campus for Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The Unterberg Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center provides comprehensive care for children, and it was the first hospital in New Jersey to open a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
