The Division of Pediatric Neurology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Toledo is currently seeking a full- time Pediatric Neurologist to join their existing team located in Toledo, Ohio. As an extension of their current collaborative partnership, Nationwide Children’s Hospital acquired Mercy Health Children’s Hospital effective March 1, 2022 and transitioned to Nationwide Children’s Toledo.
The two health systems will continue to collaborate beyond this transition via population health initiatives and research integration, with the overarching goal of providing high quality health care to children and their families. The successful candidate will join one board-certified pediatric neurologist and one nurse practitioner who currently staff the Toledo location. The clinical team consists of registered nurses, medical assistants, EEG technicians, and registration staff. The Division of Pediatric Neurology located in Toledo provides dedicated, comprehensive call coverage, inpatient/ED consultations, and runs a full service 3-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Qualified candidates for this position must have completed a residency in Child Neurology and be board certified or board eligible in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology, possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to teaching and a desire to help those in the community.
