Pediatric Pulmonologist–Albany, New York Applications are invited for a full-time faculty position in pediatric pulmonology, in the Department of Pediatrics of Albany Medical College, and the Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. We are seeking an outstanding board-certified pediatric pulmonologist to join a comprehensive clinical program dedicated toward the diagnosis and care of children and adolescents with lung disease. Board eligibility or certification in pediatric pulmonology is preferred. The division consists of 2 physicians, and 3 nurse practitioners, as well as a respiratory therapist, social worker, nurses, and dietitian. The division includes a nationally accredited cystic fibrosis research and care center, with between 90 and 100 children with CF, a specialty clinic for bronchopulmonary dysplasia, several outreach sites, and plans are in place for a technology dependent clinic. Flexible bronchoscopy is performed by the faculty of the division. Albany Medical Center Hospital is a large academic Medical Center in Albany, New York, the state capital. It is a level I Trauma Center and the regional hub for all adult and pediatric specialties. The Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital, which houses a 60 bed NICU, 19 bed PICU, and a new pediatric emergency department that opened in 2018, is the site of inpatient care rendered by the division.
