The Section of Adolescent Medicine at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City is seeking two full-time pediatric hospitalists for immediate openings working with our inpatient child and adolescent disordered eating population. Interested applicants should be willing to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including adolescent medicine physicians, registered dieticians, psychologists, therapists, and other supporting staff members. Applicants should have a strong interest in adolescent medicine. Although welcome, prior experience with medical stabilization of patients with eating disorders is not required as specialized training and support will be provided.
Clinical practice occurs at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, a freestanding 278 bed tertiary care referral center with approximately 9500 admissions per year. Academic appointments are available through The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Medicine. Full time faculty will work ~22 weeks per year with night home call. Some medical student and/or resident teaching may be required. Salary relative to experience; generous benefits and paid parental leave available.
