PEDIATRICIAN FULL TIME POSITION

NEW RIVER VALLEY PEDIATRIC

Excellent full time opportunity for a BC / BE Pediatrician in Southwest Virginia.

The practice consists of 9 physicians and 1 mid-level provider operating out of two offices providing primary outpatient care to several surrounding counties.  There are NO inpatient responsibilities.  Senior physicians have independently owned the practice for over 70 years.  Partnership is possible after 4 yrs.  

The practice is highly respected in the area for pediatric care.   The practice is a Level Three Patient Centered Medical Home and has consistently met or exceeded quality parameters established by insurance carriers and outside agencies. 

Full time providers typically work 4 days per week and one out of every 4 weekends covering ½ day office hours on Saturday and Sunday.   One day per week the provider works till 7 pm but starts that day later.  After hour calls are 99% handled by a pediatric call service. 

Practice offers a generous benefit program including salary plus productivity pay, paid health insurance, 401 K Retirement Plan and generous vacation and CME days.  Practice will entertain a sign on / relocation bonus.

The practice is nestled between the Blue Ridge and Allegany mountains with beautiful scenery all around.  Two universities and one community college are in the community offering multiple educational, sporting events and other cultural opportunities.   The area has multiple hiking/biking trails, the Blue Ridge parkway is nearby, two lakes are within a days drive and a level 2 airport is within 45 min drive.
