Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida has initiated a search for a neonatologist to serve as medical director of our affiliate NICU in the nearby community of Trinity. Highlights of this position include:
While the neonatologist will practice in Trinity, he/she is a member of the greater multi-disciplinary team that makes up the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute (MFNI).
HCA Florida Trinity Hospital has a 12 bed, Level II NICU that is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The NICU is staffed 24/7 by JHACH neonatologists, advanced practice providers, and neonatal nurses.
The neonatologists currently have a 1 week on and 1 week off schedule with 4 NPs. The neonatologists are currently not required to remain in-house 24/7 .
The medical director will be responsible for managing a broad range of daily operations including oversight of quality, safety, and compliance - all to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of neonatal care possible.
Requirements include board certification in neonatology with a record of leadership and clinical excellence.
JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospital in four pediatric specialties (2022-2023) and the #1 Children's Hospital in the Tampa Bay region.
The JHACH main campus has a 97-bed, Level IV NICU and has an ACGME accredited Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program with 2 positions/year.
