The pediatric palliative care team at UT Southwestern is recruiting a new full-time physician to join our team. Must be board certified or eligible for certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Our team currently consists of six MDs, four APPs, one RN, and one social worker. We also have close relationships with chaplains, child life, and other support services across the hospital. We work primarily at Children’s Medical Center, which has close to 500 beds. We completed approximately 600 new consults in the hospital last year and are growing our outpatient presence as well. The palliative care team is actively involved with our prenatal program, NICU, CVICU, PICU, oncology team, and complex care team, among others. We are a fairly young team and growing quickly.
