Maimonides Children's Hospital of Brooklyn is recruiting full-time BC/BE Pediatricians to join its well-established Division of General Pediatrics. This individual will have direct involvement in all clinical and academic activities in our recently renovated primary care offices. We encourage recent graduates as well as more experienced candidates to apply.

The Division of General Pediatrics currently consists of 12 faculty and cares for over 30,000 general pediatrics visits in 3 different geographic locations in Brooklyn. Our program embraces interdisciplinary care and our staff includes pediatric social workers, a strong support staff and readily available pediatric sub-specialists. We are a level 3 NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home. Our Division takes pride in our strong community and population health to care for the whole family and their broader psychosocial needs. Our primary care offices serve as the teaching sites for our pediatric residents as well as a primary clerkship site for SUNY Downstate medical students. The successful candidate will have opportunities to have an active role in resident education, quality improvement, community outreach, research and departmental/hospital administration. Faculty appointment at SUNY Downstate is available. Candidates should be BC/BE in Pediatrics.
Maimonides Children’s Hospital is Brooklyn’s largest Pediatric facility with over 2,200 pediatric admissions including 750 PICU admissions. Our Department includes over 800 NICU admissions, 6,500 deliveries and 70,000 pediatric outpatient visits. Maimonides Children’s Hospital is a Pediatric Trauma Center, Regional Perinatal Center and a member of the Children’s Oncology Group. Our faculty include a broad range of pediatric medical and surgical specialists who care for a very diverse patient population from the regional area. Maimonides trains over 54 residents in Pediatrics per year and serves as a training site for rotating residents and medical students.
