This physician would join a division of 16 faculty member physicians and 6 NP/PA’s that provides inpatient and consultation care at Penn State Health Children's Hospital.
As the only academic Children's Hospital in the area, we have access to a full array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty consultation and support.
Primary clinical responsibilities are at the Children’s Hospital, a tertiary referral center for a large geographic area, diverse patient populations and a wide range of medical conditions.
The Children's Hospital is the primary pediatric training site for Penn State College of Medicine, and there are multiple teaching opportunities as you lead a diverse team of advanced practice providers, pediatric residents, medical students, as well as many other learners throughout the institution.
Excellent leadership opportunities with members of the division currently or recently serving in roles such as residency program directors, associate residency program directors, unit medical directors, Vice Chair of DEI, Interim Chair of Dept of Pediatrics.

Outstanding clinicians who are comfortable caring for a wide array of hospitalized children
Strong teachers who enjoy working with a variety of learners.
Faculty interested in advancing the division's work in quality improvement, education, and research.
MD, D.O., or foreign equivalent
Ability to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
BC/BE in General Pediatrics; Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred
