Banner Children’s Specialists (BCS), a multispecialty group within Banner Health, is actively recruiting for a staff Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician to join our team on the campus of Banner Children’s at Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. BCS provides fully integrated pediatric services to the greater Phoenix area, with the clinic just steps away from the children’s hospital, specialty and primary care offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who prefers working in a collaborative, integrated system.
Providing care to the East and West Valley, this position offers the opportunity to work closely with other specialists in Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Hematology/Oncology, Cardiology, and Sleep Medicine.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Infectious Disease
- Experience preferred but new graduates will be considered
- ABMS Board certification or eligibility required
- Eligible for licensure in Arizona
Practice Details:
- Primarily located at Banner Desert Medical Center
- Role will include treating congenital infections, surgical abscesses, trauma infections, and quality & safety committee work.
- M-F 7-5; inpatient and telemedicine consults
