Pediatric Intensivist Opportunity in an Outdoor Wonderland
Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing healthcare team at Timpanogos Regional Hospital, part of the the MountainStar Childrenâ™s Network in Orem, UT (Utah County).
3 physician practice providing care to pediatric patients in the combined 8-bed pediatric floor and 4-bed PICU with occasional tele-consultation with our satellite pediatric inpatient unit in Ogden, UT
No newborn coverage required
24/7 split coverage of both units with rounding in the morning and then call from home after business hours
Cover an average daily census of 4-6 combined PICU/pediatric patients
Also responsible for outpatient sedations mostly for MRIs, averaging 1-2 per week
Work closely with a network of pediatric subspecialty providers including cardiology, gastroenterology, surgery, anesthesia, orthopedic surgery, craniofacial/plastic surgery, otolaryngology, and interventional radiology
Comprehensive pediatric programs with nutrition, child life, case management, and administration support
Provide support to a large collegial network of primary care pediatric providers.
The hospital includes a robust Level III NICU
Able to sponsor H1B and J1 Visa Waivers
