BC/BE General Pediatrician

Pediatric Associates of Fall River is seeking to add a new pediatrician to our practice.  We currently have 6 full-time Pediatricians and 2 Nurse Practitioners.  We enjoy the benefits of a group practice whereby there is always the easy opportunity for consultation with a colleague about a difficult or perplexing patient, shared coverage for patients during time off, and the sharing of office overhead expenses.  Our call is 1:6.  We have Night Nurse Phone Triage Service that provides triage and advice to our patients 10pm - 7am each day.

Our office is a state-of-the-art facility located directly across the street from St. Anne's Hospital.  We have excellent office staff which allows a physician to concentrate on the practice of medicine.  Our nurses handle the administration of immunizations and telephone triage of patient calls for sick visits or general advice.  We have a full-time Practice Administrator, a full-time Behavior Health Care Coordinator,  an in-office laboratory for basic testing, proficient clerical and billing staff, computerized billing and scheduling, and electronic medical records.

Our Neonatology Service is located at Charlton Memorial Hospital which is about 5 miles from our office.  This hospital has a Level 1 and Level 2 nursery with full-time Neonatologists and 24-hour in-house Neonatal coverage.  We care for our own babies in the nursery; however, the in-house neonatology coverage allows for consultation problem cases and delivery coverage.

The Greater Fall River area includes a number of fine residential communities with very good school systems.  Recreational opportunities such as golf, sailing, beaches, and excellent dining are abundant locally.  Cultural activities are readily available locally and in nearby Providence and Boston.
