Job Summary
The Department of Pediatrics at The University of Chicago is seeking an Associate or Full Professor in the Section of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The successful candidate will be a full-time faculty member who will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship. They will join a distinguished and dynamic community of faculty colleagues and learners in UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates.
The appointee will lead the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Section to enhance its clinical and academic excellence. This will include patient care, including care of COVID-19 patients, medical education, and scholarship. The University of Chicago has a long tradition of excellence in patient care, basic, clinical, and translational sciences, making it an ideal environment for an academic physician.
As an academic physician, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at one of the nation's best hospitals, which has been at the forefront of medicine since 1927.
