Doctors Emergency Services, P.A., an independent democratic Emergency Medicine group, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Emergency Medicine/Pediatric Hospitalist physician to join our innovative combined Pediatric Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit at Anne Arundel Medical Center in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland.
This unique 18-bed combined pediatric unit offers physicians the opportunity to practice broad-spectrum acute pediatric care in a collaborative community-based setting with meaningful autonomy and strong subspecialty support.
Our Pediatric ED sees approximately 20,000 visits annually with approximately 1,000 inpatient admissions per year. Physicians care for a diverse range of pediatric pathology including medical, surgical, respiratory, trauma, neonatal, behavioral health, and transfer-stabilization patients. The practice includes opportunities for pediatric emergency procedures, resuscitation, stabilization, sedation, inpatient management, and coordination with tertiary pediatric centers.
The unit is well-supported by experienced pediatric physicians, pediatric nurse practitioners, dedicated nursing staff, respiratory therapy, and strong collaborative relationships with nearby tertiary pediatric hospitals.

Candidate Qualifications Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics PEM training or emergency medicine experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills Interest in acute pediatric care across both emergency and inpatient settings Spanish fluency is a plus (24/7 interpreter services available)
Schedule Full-time averages 32 clinical hours per week Flexible mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts Combination of days, evenings, nights, and weekends Dedicated nocturnist opportunities available
