PEDIATRIC URGENT CARE PHYSICIAN (MD/DO) - FULL TIME (will consider PART TIME)

Salary: $270,000+ | Partnership Track Available | No Call | Physician-Owned Practice | 8 hour shifts

Rainbow Kids Urgent Care is a rapidly growing, physician-owned pediatric urgent care serving families in the Sacramento region. We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our collaborative team.

This position is ideal for a pediatrician who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. Requirements

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries
Perform common urgent care procedures, including:
Simple laceration repair
Incision and drainage
Foreign body removal (skin, ear, nose)
Splinting and basic orthopedic care (orthopedic consultation available)
Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies
Provide patient and family education, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in EPIC
Collaborate closely with clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
Current DEA registration
Current PALS certification
Comfortable performing common pediatric urgent care procedures
Strong communication skills and commitment to family-centered care
