About Us

At Nemours Children's Health, we are deeply committed to enhancing children's health. As a non-profit health organization, we embrace the responsibility of safeguarding the well-being of every child.

Through our family-centered care, operating in renowned hospitals and clinics across Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida, we make a significant impact. But our mission extends far beyond our physical locations.

Through groundbreaking research, innovative education, and powerful advocacy efforts, we strive to create a brighter, healthier tomorrow for all children. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive — even those who may never step foot inside our doors.

Our journey began over 70 years ago, inspired by Alfred I. duPont's vision to improve children's lives and to go above and beyond in preventing and treating even the most challenging childhood conditions.

Today, we care for over 250,000 children annually in the Delaware Valley and Florida, including families from across the nation and around the globe. Our associates are key to creating an environment that values diversity, where there are no limits to innovation and collaboration in the interest of children and families.

Experience the Nemours Children’s difference as we work tirelessly to empower families and create the healthiest generations of children.

Mission: To provide leadership, institutions, and services to restore and improve the health of children through care and programs not readily available, with one high standard of quality and distinction, regardless of the recipient's financial status.
