Description
The Center for Healthcare Delivery Science (CHDS) at Nemours Childrens Health is seeking a full-time Research Coordinator (RC). The position is available mid-summer and is based in Wilmington, DE. This RC will work primarily with J.J. Cutuli, Ph.D. Responsibilities will require in-person work in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware.The RC will coordinate, implement and complete qualitative and quantitative research studies. Essential RC duties include coordinating IRB submissions, recruiting study participants, obtaining informed consent, interacting with community-partners, state and local education, health and human service agencies, children, youth and parents related to research projects, scheduling and conducting study procedures, collecting and recording study data, maintaining study records, participating in data collection and analysis, and the preparation of scientific presentations, manuscripts, reports, and grants.
The Center for Healthcare Deliver Science (CHDS) (www.nemours.org/chds) is a research center across the Nemours enterprise. Anne E. Kazak, Ph.D., ABPP is the enterprise director, Melissa A. Alderfer, PhD is the Center Director in Delaware and Susana Patton, PhD is the Center Director in Florida. The CHDS includes over 20 investigators that study ways to improve wellness beyond medicine for children, youth and their families.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelors degree in social work, psychology, public health, or related.
- Experience working with historically marginalized groups and communities with higher rates of poverty, including both American born and immigrant and refugee families preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish or Haitian Creole) communication skills are strongly preferred.
- Must be able to effectively use Microsoft computer software.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with human service providers in community settings.
- Previous research experience.
- Must have reliable transportation for frequent travel between locations.
- Must agree to a minimum 2 year commitment.
