Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our expanding Pediatric multi-specialty group in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details Include:
- Part-time or full-time ambulatory clinic position available
- Possible outreach to Carle Health sites in our region
- Call 1:3
- Telemedicine consult service / telephone management
- Pediatric Gastroenterology patients only; no general pediatrics patients
- Dedicated Pediatric, Neonatal, and Obstetric Transport Services via air and ground
- Pediatric subspecialties onsite include Gastroenterology, Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Sleep, Genetics, Pediatric Surgery, Cardiology, Psychology, Child Maltreatment, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, and Urology
- Clinic physically connected to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana with 48-bed Level 3 NICU & 22-bed Inpatient Pediatric & PICU division staffed 24/7 with in-house Neonatologists, Pediatric Intensivists, and Pediatric Hospitalists.
- Opportunity to collaborate with experienced Gastroenterologists and Colon-Rectal Surgeons through our established Digestive Health Institute
- Centrally-located to Carle Foundation Hospital, our state-of-the-art 10-suite Digestive Health Institute includes exam rooms, preparation and recovery bays, procedural rooms and space for research
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering in collaboration with the University of Illinois at Urbana / Champaign

The compensation range for this position is $310,000 - $315,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
