The Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist /Pediatric Nocturnist to provide nighttime inpatient care to pediatric patients at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. We welcome Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatricians, or fellowship-trained Pediatric Hospitalists to apply. This position will be located at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. The position is primarily clinical with involvement in the residency teaching program.
St. Joseph's Children's Hospital is a tertiary care, 120-bed (including PICU & PCICU) hospital located in the heart of Tampa. The hospitalist program is staffed by approximately 5 FTE daily and 2 FTE nightly and cares for routine and medically complex children.
Responsibilities
Provides in house night shift coverage at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. This position in non-academic but may involve teaching residents. Evaluates, diagnosis and treats infants, children, and adolescents in the inpatient setting. Primarily assigned to overnight shifts. This position may be required to take call.

Requirements
Qualified Candidates:
- BC/BE in Pediatrics
- Must have experience in a hospital setting
- Current FL Medical License or must be eligible for an unrestricted full medical license in Florida
- Pediatric Hospital Medicine board certification preferred, but not required
