Description
The Department of Pediatrics at MedStar Health/MedStar Medical Group is seeking a full time Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our clinical, academic and research mission at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH). The successful candidate will provide consultative services in both an inpatient and ambulatory setting (DC and satellite clinics in Maryland). The candidate will also have an opportunity to join a collaborative team of clinicians in multidisciplinary programs such as Aerodigestive, Severe Asthma, and Comprehensive Pediatric Sleep Clinic. The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at MGUH provides flexible bronchoscopy service and has well equipped pulmonary function and exercise laboratory and an accredited Sleep Center.
Position includes faculty appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine commensurate with experience. Incumbent will have full participation in education of medical students and residents and opportunities for clinical research along with competitive compensation and a generous benefits package.

Requirements
Qualified candidates must hold a MD/DO degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology. Candidate must be able to obtain medical licensure in Washington, D.C. and Maryland and possess clinical expertise in Pediatric Pulmonology and Flexible Bronchoscopy. While not required, we welcome candidates with additional training in Sleep Medicine. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals to advance clinical programs is essential.
