- Schedule: 26 weeks per year of clinical service, alternating call while on service
- Call Schedule: Average 1:4 (home call, coming in as needed)
- Practice Detail: Coverage of pediatric floor admissions and rounding, healthy newborn nursery rounding, and consultation to our ED for children

Ascension St. Vincent's is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician for our Peyton Manning Children's Hospital team in Evansville.
Position Highlights:
- Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville is seeking a Full Time BE/BC Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in Evansville, IN. BE/BC in either Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine or General Pediatrics with inpatient experience.
- Coverage 15 bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit with 3 full time and 2 part time Pediatric Hospitalists
- 7 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit staffed by Pediatric Intensivists
- Level III NICU staffed by in-house neonatologists (hospitalists do not provide delivery or NICU coverage).
- Level II Pediatric Trauma Verification
- Emergency Room area dedicated for children

- Regional perinatal center with around 1,400 deliveries annually

Pediatric Services at PMCH Evansville
- 32 Bed NICU with a full team of dedicated RNs, RTs, Dietitians, OT, PT and speech therapists
- 15 bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit with Pediatric Hospitalists
- 7 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with Pediatric Intensivists
- Level II Pediatric Trauma Verification
- Dedicated NICU Transport Team
- 7 bed Emergency Room area dedicated for children with dedicated providers
- Established Pediatric Specialty Clinic including full-time GI and part time neurologist, pulmonologist, endocrinologist, dedicated pediatric registered dietitian and integrated pediatric psychologists.
- Full time pediatric cardiologist.
- Monthly pediatric hematology and orthopedic clinics.
- Sleep Disorders Clinic
- Behavioral based outpatient Feeding Program
- Outpatient Behavioral Health Program with pediatric psychologists and LCSWs
- Outpatient Family Navigators to ensure continuity of care
- Outpatient Pediatric Therapy Program (OT, PT Speech)

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
