Company Overview
At Wee Care Pediatrics, we strive to provide primary care with a holistic approach. The community we serve is primarily comprised of Medicaid members.
We have built strong relationships with our local pediatric hospital and specialty groups to ensure that our patients are receiving appropriate care when they are referred by our office. We have also entered into partnerships with local and national organizations such as the American Lung Association to implement different initiatives to improve patient care and education.
Wee Care Mission: We commit to creating a space where every child and their family feels truly welcomed, heard, and cared for. We promise to honor each person's culture and language, to provide whole-person care with compassion and respect, and to walk alongside families as partners, helping children grow into healthy, confident adults.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Targeted Investments Program 1.0 Graduate:
The Targeted Investments Program 1.0 was a 6 year program sponsored by the Arizona Medicaid Program (AHCCCS). This program focused on continuity of care and ensuring that our patients needs were met, especially in regards to integrating behavioral health and acute medical care.
Targeted Investments Program 2.0 Participant:
The Targeted Investments Program 2.0 is a 5 year program sponsored by AHCCCS through federal funding. This program focuses on implementing a holistic approach for our patients, ensuring that their social determinates of health are taken into consideration when treating a patient.
American Lung Association (ALA) Partner:
We have partnered with the ALA for multiple initiatives. Our current initiative focuses on the impact of poor air quality in our community. We are educating patients about the different effects that poor air quality can have on our health, especially those who live with a chronic lung disease.
