Description
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track clinical genetic counselor position in the Division of Medical Genetics, Department of Pediatrics. The candidate will join a vibrant clinical practice that includes 4 MD Medical Geneticists, 1 MD/PhD Medical Geneticist, 10 Genetic Counselors, and 3 Metabolic Dieticians, in an academic setting that provides comprehensive genetic services.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Contribute to the clinical and educational programs of the Division of Medical Genetics.
Provide services in the Inpatient Medical Genetics Consult service and the Outpatient Medical Genetics Clinics at the UT Professional Building (UTPB)
Actively participate in educational activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at UTHealth
Requirements
Qualifications:
The selected candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling and be board-eligible or board-certified.
