Perioperative Medicine
The Division of Pediatric Orthopedics at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) seeks a Board-Certified Pediatrician/Hospitalist.
Academic position with teaching responsibilities:
- Clinical duties include inpatient and outpatient responsibilities in the realm of pediatric orthopedics: pre and post operative management.
- Position will involve some weekend and holiday inpatient care on a flexible, compensated basis.
- Broad clinical exposure including a wide range of complex medical conditions.
- Close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, pediatric subspecialists, pediatric anesthesia, and Weill Cornell PICU.
- Extensive teaching and mentoring opportunities with pediatric residents and Weill Cornell medical students, including the role of Director of Pediatric Medical Education.
- Opportunities for leading and collaborating in clinical research and quality improvement projects with research assistant support.
- Academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medicine is commensurate with experience.
